The Pryor Mountain range straddles the border between MT and WY and is home to a herd of wild ponies as well as an abundance of other wildlife, including mountain lions, bighorn sheep, and coyotes. The Ewing-Snell ranch is currently, probably constantly, undergoing reconstruction and this is the old corral and cattle chute up the hill from the main house. Though I didn't see a coyote that day, I feel sure that one has passed this way. |
